Important Guidelines & Preparation

To support a deeper and more meaningful experience, you may wish to consider the following:

  • Video On: Darshan is a moment of seeing and being seen. Keeping your video on allows you to fully receive this connection and meet Guruji’s gaze during the blessing.
  • Environment: A calm and quiet space can help you settle the mind and be more present. If that’s not possible, simply join from wherever you are—the intention is what matters most.
  • Dress Code: No specific dress code is required—just come as you are, in a way that feels modest and respectful.
  • Timing: Joining about 30 minutes early can help you settle in, secure your place, and gently enter the space through the Bhakti Lounge.

Online Darshan is a live spiritual experience where you connect with the Divine through the presence of Paramahamsa Vishwananda via Zoom. Expect a guided, deeply spiritual session where you will have a moment to meet His gaze. It is a moment of seeing and being seen, beyond physical distance.

Paramahamsa Vishwananda is a Satguru in the bhakti tradition and the founder of Bhakti Marga, an international community of practitioners with members in more than 80 countries. An accomplished teacher in the bhakti lineage, he was born in Mauritius in 1978 and established the Hari Bhakta Sampradaya in 2021. He is the author of several books, including commentaries on the Bhagavad Gita, and the teacher of Atma Kriya Yoga, a meditation and breath practice in the lineage of Mahavatar Babaji.

The full session can last between 1 to 2 hours. This includes the pre-program (chanting, meditation, or Q&A), waiting time, and the Darshan blessing itself.

Being in a calm and undisturbed space can greatly support your ability to relax, focus, and fully receive the experience. If your surroundings are more active, you can still join—just do your best to create a moment of inner stillness and presence wherever you are.

Aside from ensuring your camera is working and creating a comfortable space, no special preparation is needed. Simply arrive on time, with an open heart and a willingness to receive.

Online Darshan is a completely free event. However, donations are deeply appreciated and help support the mission and future events.

Sometimes, depending on the flow of the session, there may be a Q&A segment where participants can ask questions if selected at the end. Another option, you can hold a paper with your question written in large, clear letters next to your camera. Enabling the “mirror” option in Zoom can help ensure your message appears readable on screen.
